French Oak Staves
Designed to be used for fermentation and aging, our oak staves are available in three toasts and three different sizes. Oak staves and inserts provide aromatics, structure, volume, density and depth to wines, all while respecting the fruit and the flavors intrinsic to the wine. Allary oak staves and inserts are recommended for wines destined for bottle aging.

The Allary oak alternatives are produced exclusively from stave quality French oak containing no bark or sapwood. All of our batches of oak have been carefully selected for their oenological qualities and are subject to strict traceability requirements.

The toasting process involves an air convection system which enables us to produce homogeneous levels of toast throughout the product with varying gradients of toast. |
